Statistics
Colorectal cancer is the cancer no one needs to have. Yet, Lucas County has a high rate of diagnosis of colorectal cancer in later stages. Meaning the polyp has turned into a cancer (generally about 10 years from the beginning of the polyp) then it has grown larger into a tumor, and often breaks through the wall of the colon, releasing cancer cells into the body and attaching on other organs.
